In video streaming sites on other browsers and apps, usually on clicking the full screen button on the bottom right usually rotates the screen from portrait to landscape, even when auto rotation is turned off. This is IMO the expected behavior, coming from other apps, browsers, and even brave on Android.
I think this will be a great change, considering in most cases we click the full screen button in order to video the video full-screen. Currently in Brave iOS it results in huge black bars on the top and bottom of the screen and the actual video having very little screen real estate.
Also this feature should be fairly easy to implement. Will appreciate it very much, since like many, I primarily use YT on Brave.
That is a negative. It is not. And it has been marked as a wontfix, saying this is an iOS limitation. The YouTube could also change their code which would make it viable like other websites. However right now it’s between YouTube and Apple to make adjustments overall.
And I should also add, your issue is only on YouTube, right? @ultramagnus. From what I have seen all other websites seem to work perfectly fine. It’s only YouTube that likes to be stupid
