At the moment a tab which is muted will only show as muted when it tries to make noise. It would be better if it showed as “muted” until it was unmuted - Sometimes the volume of something playing in the tab isn’t loud enough to trigger the icon to say noise is playing, or sometimes you have to play content to enable you to unmute the tab, then restart the content.
