Description of the issue: I have two laptops, one laptop has the screenshot of my security phrase, I cant use the laptop its having issues going into a TTY mode and I am trying to recover the PC; however, the laptop I am currently using share the same gmail, and everything and the brave account. I tried to see my brave wallet, and it turns out it has a different BTC Wallet Address on this computer that I am currently using and there is no funds that I put which really bothers me.
Is the issue occurring on a specific network? Bitcoin Mainnet
What operating system are you using? Zorin OS Pro 18
Brave Version (check About Brave): Brave 1.85.116 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Additional Information: I basically made the mistake of downloading wine and wine32 on my other laptop that is running the same OS Zorin Pro 18 and after I did that it booted into TTY mode and I can’t get out of it; I thought this wasn’t that big of a deal, until I went onto my work laptop running the same operating system and sure enough my wallet was not the same information or well the same wallet ID as the computer that busted and wont get passed the TTY mode. I am not sure what is going on but I need either A my wallet restored on this computer or B a fix for my computer with the sctreenshot of my security phrase and access to the wallet; so I can get on it and make sure I have my funds.
I do have proof of purchasing the BTC
I do have the password
I do know the wallet ID
I am however, not sure what I can do in regards to this and I was hoping there is someone or a staff member that can help me; I have reached out even to Zorin OS Support team and I haven’t quite had any luck recovering the screenshot even, if there is someone that knows what I can do it would be greatly appreciated if they would help me thank you.
