Everytime Brave updates all passwords are gone! tis going on now since about 3rd week of June
Yes i know i can import the passwords when i have exported them!!! but i do not daily export all Passwords so again the newest i just got for some sites are again Gone cause brave updated automatically !!! it is becoming very annoying.. If it is not fixable let everyone know and revert Brave back to 3 months ago and do not do any updates till you have found the solution… As i have bin reading this bin going on now for several years! But this is first year i have a problem!!… Or stop with the chromium based system and develop own .
Oh i did read all solutions and non of them succeeded as far i read and or tried myself
For now i will install the CSV File in a other browser and going to use that as my default browser

I wrote some scripts almost 20 years ago, in order to backup all Internet browsers’ user data sets, every day. In addition, I adopted a 3rd party password manager, so my username-and-password combinations would not be subject to the whims of any particular Internet-capable application.
My daily data backup scripts do not rely upon any sync process.
And: I would never remain logged in to any website. Also, make a routine of checking the clearance settings (for all tabs) that could clear passwords: ‘brave://settings/clearBrowserData’
i have it backed up it is a annoying that brave keeps doing that.
i read all those articles what you suggested they do not solve the fact that brave is doing this since start of June about

I NEVER stay logged in on any website . Hence why password manager is handy when you have loads of passwords
Having to back up everyday is basically ridicules Browser should not just empty the password manager after update!!! everytime!!!
anyway for now i am not using Brave since the stuttering blackscreen /taskbar going black appareantly is Brave as well i closed and exit it and that last problem is solved ..
So unless Brave find a Fix for the issues they should reverse to the version that was running the end of MAY . till 1 of those 2 options is done i will not run Brave anymore as browser unfortunate…. Since not good for blood pressure and annoyingness my mental wellbeing (or of the 1’s around me lol)
