the Brave Logo on the search page creates 1 1/2 inches of dead space on left side when using desktop comp. This space pushes webpage content to the right side and hides wording.

First of all, drop the attitude. They are a user like you, just like I am. (If they worked for Brave, they would have a Brave logo over their icon. Before you say “how was I supposed to know”, here’s a thought, maybe don’t assume? Even then, what do you gain being so rude to a Brave staffer anyway? Be nice and polite!) They posted based on the extremelyvery little information you provided other than text with zero evidence to even show what you’re claiming. Because what we are seeing is no dead space. That’s the entire point of @289wk’s reply.
Conveniently, you chose:
Not to share a screenshot. (You lied by stating we cannot.)
Not mention what OS you are using other than it’s a desktop (Mac, Linux, Windows, BSD, Unix, Commodore 64)?
Share what Brave version you are on in case there was a bug that was fixed and you just never upgraded (we can only assume when one choses not to fill out the required template).
cuz the bone head reply is typical
I suggest dropping the attitude going forward (no matter if someone misses the mark on your question, I expect better from someone who supposedly is in their 50-60’s). I will not repeat myself a second time. Capisci?

You are complaining about something all search engines do. In fact, Brave’s search page is dynamic, if your window is too small, it will move left. In fact, I cannot force the search page to cut anything off on the right. I can size the window so small it basically auto-switches itself to the mobile interface to STILL not cut text off.
With that said, I cannot reproduce. In fact, the Brave search site was designed so well that I could not once force any text to be cut off. It all safely word-wrapped.
