Latest Update Broke Google Accounts. Can Not Sign In

Google flagged brave as malware. Logged me out. Can not sign in to google account because brave blocks the 2 step verification sent to my phone. Opera still does all of these things:
How can this issue be reproduced?

I got in by setting up authenticator as a 2fa method. I couldn’t get the text to phone push notifications to work no matter what settings I played with.
