Lag/stutter/hiccups in videos at 60fps when using graphic acceleration

Description of the issue:

When using graphic acceleration, videos at 60 fps have Lag/stutter/hiccups, specially when other tabs are open, i had this issue since a month ago, i waited for the next update but that didn’t fix it. I tested CHROME, EDGE and FIREFOX and they don’t have this issue

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. go to Settings > System, turn on “Use graphics acceleration when available” option

  2. go to Youtube or Twitch, set any video to 720 60fps or higher

  3. a few seconds into the video and it will start to stutter/lag

Expected result:

The videos should run smoothly with graphic acceleration on.

Brave Version( check About Brave):

Brave 1.81.131 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Chromium: 139.0.7258.66

Additional Information:

If a switch to 30fps quality or if i turn off the “Use graphics acceleration when available” option it looks fine, but i would like to use the graphic card instead of the cpu. CHROME, EDGE and FIREFOX don’t have this issue.

It seems that the problem fixed itself after yesterday’s Windows Update, and the last update of Brave.
