Description: i have tried downloading brave and it keeps crashing on startup

I have tried several other times before and the same result

Yes and all times it has crashed on startup

Do you have any anti-virus software installed on your machine at this time?

No, not that I know of

Can you try downloading the Beta and/or Nightly version to test and see if they also crash for you?

yes they also crash. Note that I have also tried downloading firefox and same thing happened

If you’re seeing applications other that Brave crashing then the issue is likely something specific to your system that is causing the crashes.
