Description of the issue:
Keeper Password Manager is not working properly in Brave Browser in Android.
I use GBoard and when i select any of the password from the list on top of the keyboard it does not auto fill in brave. Doing the same in Google Chrome auto fills in the same website.
Also, sometimes keeper asked me to sign in and when I press on the sign in on the top of the keyboard it doesn’t do anything. Whereas in Google Chrome I’m able to login to Keeper.
Another one is sometimes I just get blank entries. In the top of the keyboard where the record appears you can see a placeholder but without any text. Its just blank.
How can this issue be reproduced?
-
Download the latest version of Brave from play store. Setup your browser as required.
-
Download and install keeper password manager. And, do all the configuration required.
-
In the Brave autofill services, select autofill with another service
-
Open any website where you can login.
-
Click on the login field. Sometimes it is prompted it to fill up your password. But most of the time it’s not.
-
If a password appears, click on the password on top of your keyboard, it doesn’t do anything.
Expected result:
When you click on the login fields, it should prompt you to user password.
The expected result is whenever you touch the password on top of the keyboard it fills up the password fields correct.
