Issues with sync not working

Description of the issue: Sync not working on my laptop.

**Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1.downloaded brave on a new laptop **

2 went through the sync steps and typed in the code

3 waited 1 day

Brave Version v 1.81.135

Type of devices currently running on the Sync chain in question:

i have my phone and pc on it and those two are working my laptop when added does not show the other devices nor do the other devices show it. I have tried leaving the chain on my laptop and rejoining it 4 times and it still has not worked.

Additional Information:

@BantSoul are you generating the code from the phone or PC and inputting it onto the laptop? As you have the issue described it sounds like you’re not putting them all on the same sync chain.

At least it how it sounds at a surface level reading.

I am taking the chain from the pc and typing it into the laptop.

@BantSoul are they both on the same version of Brave? And to be clear, the PC does show the phones and itself on the sync chain, right?

@BantSoul if you go to brave://sync-internals what do you see? In particular there’s 2-3 places to look. Ideally to see what it shows for both your PC and your laptop after you add it to the same sync chain.

Your last question above is exactly what I would ask next. Curious to see what the Sync-internals page shows when the laptop in question is successfully [seemingly] added to the chain.
