Issue: Brave Browser Installation and Crash Problems
Hello everyone,
I’m facing multiple problems with Brave Browser on my Windows PC:

When trying to install or update Brave via the Microsoft Store, I get the error message “Something went wrong” and the installation fails. The retry option doesn’t help.

While using Brave, I encountered the error
STATUS_STACK_BUFFER_OVERRUN, which prevents pages from loading and causes browser crashes. -
The Settings page in Brave won’t open, making it impossible to fix issues from inside the browser.

When trying to install or update Brave manually, I also faced the error code
0x8004070C.
I have tried:

Resetting the Microsoft Store cache (
wsreset.exe) -
Running Brave installer as administrator

Clearing temporary files
-
Restarting the computer
-
Disabling extensions and antivirus temporarily

Creating a new Brave profile by renaming the User Data folder
Unfortunately, these issues persist, and I’m unable to use the browser properly.
