Is there a way to improve indexing/discovery for a new website on Brave Search?

Hi everyone,

I recently launched a new website (url= https://africala.net/) and I’m trying to understand how Brave Search handles indexing and discovery for newer domains.

The site is already:

  1. publicly accessible
  2. indexed on some other search engines
  3. has sitemap + robots configured correctly
  4. using HTTPS
  5. getting a few backlinks and social mentions

However, Brave Search still doesn’t seem to show the domain or pages consistently when searching for branded keywords.

I wanted to ask:

  • Does Brave Search rely mostly on independent crawling or Bing-style discovery signals?
  • Is there any way to manually suggest/index a website?
  • How long does Brave usually take to discover newer domains?
  • Do backlinks and crawl frequency affect indexing speed significantly?

The website is in the telecom/business messaging space and most pages are informational + SEO-focused content rather than dynamic web apps.

Would appreciate any recommendations from people who’ve successfully gotten newer websites indexed faster on Brave Search.
