Is it possible to delete the space left by undisplayed ads?

Just started using Brave. So far so good. Pages seem to load faster. There doesn’t seem to be a major need to add extensions, so I think that helps.

In Shields, I block everything, which is great. However, the page then shows large blank spaces where the ads would have been. I’m happy not to have ads, but I still have to scroll through blank space to continue reading. Is there any way to delete these blank spaces. Happens on all the websites I generally visit .

Using various ad blockers on Firefox, for example, deletes the ads as well as the spaces they would have occupied.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
This issue is actually known and will be resolved when we implement “cosmetic filtering” in Shields (coming soon). Once pushed, ads should be blocked and the white-space “collapsed” or trimmed as if it were never there.
