Is it possible to disable the auto hiding of the URL bar when scrolling? My concern are sites like Facebook, that track scrolling behaviour. I don’t want some of the junk that pops up on my Facebook feed being tagged as interest, just because I had to reverse the scrolling direction, or by accident stopped scrolling when this junk was just inside the viewport.
You tagged both iOS and android so it’s hard to know what you are using. I am on iOS. When you scroll and the search bar goes away you’ll notice that it still shows the URL up top. Such as in the screenshot below:
If you tap that black line on top, the one that looks like:
It will open the search/URL bar, as so:
And yes, my screenshots changed a little bit because I had scrolled around and kept toggling back-and-forth between tabs as I was responding to you. But I promise you it works as I mentioned.
So at least on iOS it never really disappears it just collapses is all. And tapping it will expand it again. No scrolling is necessary
