Description of the issue: When opening a new tab and selecting ‘Show More’, some favourites icons, especially ‘major’ websites, are incorrect.
How can this issue be reproduced?
Open a new tab.
Select ‘Show More’
Observe favourite icons.
Expected result: Some icons are invorrect

Additional Information: The affected favourites icons usually affect sites such as Google, BBC, YouTube, eBay and Amazon but have affected others. Examples are shown in the attachment. Sometimes, visiting the site will replace the correct icon but often, it will not. Given that the site text is so small and truncated now, it is often easier to go by the site icon so this is a bit of a nuisance. The orange G icon showing for Amazon is from a UK website, gear4music.com.
Restarting Brave may reset the icons as does clearing the cache but incorrect icons for these sites keep coming back.
Sorry to report, that the Brave Browser (iOS) New Tab Page (NTP) Favorites/Top Sites icons - some of them - will change their appearance (and sometimes appear as only a generic icon). That is an ongoing issue. Probably applies:
I have only 4 New Tab Page (NTP) Favorites/Top Sites icons. No given pattern of not appearing well; any 1 or more will on occasion, change their appearance.
