I don’t know why, but Brave keeps closing all my tabs at shutdown and it is very annoying. I know I can open history and check each tab on a one-by-one basis to restore them, but surely you can add a select all option for a given day?
I don’t know if I’m alone in this but I tend to keep at least 30 tabs open, many of which I use on a daily basis. Checking each one in history to restore it is a waste of time.
Kind of. Is it safe to assume you’re on desktop? If so, when you go to History, you’ll see checkboxes.
If you check one box and hit Ctrl+A (on Windows), it will highlight everything.
If you just want to select a certain range, you could click on a box, then scroll up or down to the other end of what you want, then hold Shift and click on the second box. This will highlight everything in between, which you can then choose to open them all.
Notes:
From the hamburger menu, the History line shows recently closed windows or tabs. You can right click and choose to restore. Like in the below, I saw a recent window that had 3 tabs. When doing a mouseover it expands to show what those tabs were. I can right click to restore the whole window and it along with all those tabs will be opened again
And of course, what narendramahara mentioned is definitely a big thing. Set this and it won’t always close everything when you exit Brave or shutdown your device for the most part.
