Leo AI (specifically with Claude Sonnet model) incorrectly claims that Charlie Kirk has not been assassinated.

We know the models get current events like this wrong because the training data needs to be updated a bit, but we’re not sure why the models are so 100% adamant that it’s a factual error. We do have a small tweak to the system prompt coming out today which should help alleviate things like this but it will still likely be an issue until the AI companies update their models (our current version of Sonnet’s knowledge cutoff is July 2025, so I think the next update should solve this at least for sonnet)
