ID Autria Login via FIDO Key not working

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. go to https://www.eduvidual.at/ and press login via “Bildungsportal”

  2. then select login via id autria and again ID Autria Login

  3. put in ID Austria Crendentials and submit

  4. select Alternative athentification method (FIDO Security key)

  5. a.) press sign popup comes as normal but it instantly says key could not be verified

  6. b.) before pressing sign press seoperte window after sucefull validation it seems doesn’t redirect

Expected result:

sucessful login

Brave Version( check About Brave):

Bravee 1.84.141 (Official Build) (arm64)

Chromium: 142.0.7444.176

Additional Information:

works in other cromium based browsers so I don’t think it is id autria’s side.

Do you mind trying this with the shields down? Being it doesn’t redirect, it sounds like something might be accidentally blocked. (I don’t have an account there nor such a key to test this personally).

I tried it with shields down and I didn’t work. But I also tried it in an private browser tab and here it works with no problems then I tried it again in normal browsing and it works. Seems it fixed itself thanks for your help

On one hand, I’m super glad it fixed itself for you. (Maybe the shields being down temporarily allowed “some” cookie on, but didn’t happen right away?) On the other, issues that fix themselves happen to be the ones that tend to return. :sweat_smile:

Hopefully for you though it stays fixed!
