I have a problem with my phone and Walmart job app

Recently I started a new job at Walmart. I was expecting to use my phone to sync with the Walmart app I use for work, but I can’t sign in on the app without using chrome browser. I tried even removing the shields to the brave browser but nothing would work. The apps in question are MyWalmart along with VIP access. I always use Brave as my default browser. I always use github.com for updates so I have the latest version. Now chrome is active on my phone as default and I don’t like it. Any thought would be appreciated.
