I have made the Brave wallet and bought USDT in order to swap with other currencies and trade. But when I try to swap USTD to any other currency it shows me “Not enough SOL”, even though I selected Tether. When I try to deposit them I get a message “The receiving address is your own”. Am I doing something wrong maybe?
This is because it uses the Solana network. You need SOL to pay the gas fees.

Each network has it s own token as currency for the gas fee.
Ex:
- Solana has SOL
- Ethereum has ETH(gwei)
and so on…
You can have almost any token on any network, but the swap has to be paid in current network currency.
