I understand it is wise to stay updated between various Brave versions and updated protocols & features.
Invariably, I will get a notice to “UPDATE” in the sidebar. In attempting to do so, I immediately save and export my bookmarks and passwords from its manager.
However, in-every-single-Brave-update, the updates completely erase any features of which I became accustomed, and a new complete version is installed. over it. The old version remains listed in my “list of computer applications.”
The new version does not carry over any of the extensions (I have about 35, like password mgr, virus checker, download mgr, cookies mgr, to name a few.). I can plug and play my saved bookmarks, but I don’t desire to continually go to the Webstore to download (yet again) all of my extensions.
I am looking for a way to save my list of extensions under an import/export feature. This is why I simply refuse to update right away b/c it is such an unnecessary chore to do. Thanks for any input.
Using Brave 1.64.113, Linux Mint latest version.
