How to set ad new page to new tabsheet under same instance of Brave ?

Whenever I click on Youtube ad thumbnail, it auto spawn a new page separately from the existing Brave instance.

  1. Under Youtube, click on ad thumbnail like below,

  2. Click on the ad thumbnail

  3. It pop up a new page instead of creating new tabsheet adjacently under same instance brave.

How to configure Brave to create next adjacent page instead of new separate page in this case while clicking on Youtube ad thumbnail ?

Please advise.

This is the way the link is setup. It’s configured to open in a new tab by default. There isn’t really a way to do this at this time. Is there a particular reason you have a need for this feature?

just personal preference, so all new windows just append to next adjacent tabsheet, this way looks more organized.

Yeah there’s no way to change the default behavior of this in the browser that I’m aware of. Thats again because it’s the way the link is setup. However, you can open these links as a new tab by using Ctrl + Click on the thumbnail, which will open any link clicked on this way as a new tab. Alternatively, you can right-click and select Open link in new tab from the context menu.
