How to manage short cuts in files on the startpage ?

I’d like to know if it’s possible to get all my favorites shortcuts on the Brave startpage, but set in differents categories files like “social networks”, “my radios”, “my forums” as it is possible on Opera ?

That is realy more convenient ; then you have all the same topic’s favorites fast in reach.

Thanks

It’s not possible to do that with the new tab page tiles at this time. You can however use the bookmarks bar for exactly that purpose:

thanks for you answer, i need to understand how that works…

But if i understand, those are not groups of bookmarks, but groups of tabs ? That different ; cant rename them, and they are closed when i turn off Brave.

Those are groups of bookmarks. That whole bar at the bottom is called the Bookmarks bar and those are just folders of bookmarks.

Indeed, that is for groups of bookmarks. You can even put folders in there to group things like I do with News sources.

Or also even “bookmarklets” like my “Translate Text” which isn’t a URL at all, it’s Javascript in one-line to auto Google Translate any text I highlight in a page (because Brave offers no right-click to translate if Google is not the default search engine, and I use Brave search, arguably now better than Google since the beginning of this year).

how can i remane those bookmarks then ?

Right-click on the Bookmark you wish to edit, and go to Edit:

You can then rename it, and even modify the URL it points to.

(And move it to the Other Bookmarks menu if you desire.)

You can even create new pages directly or folders by right-clicking a blank spot on the very same bar.

i think i do the wrong way… all i m able to create are “groups of taps”. I dont understand to way to creat “groups of bookmarks”

Yeah you’ve created “tab groups”, which are (as their name implies) groups of tabs. You can create a folder on the bookmarks bar by simply right-clicking on the bar and adding bookmarks to that folder. This can be done in the bookmarks manager (brave://bookmarks) as well:
