The wallet is so annoying. We need the function to completely disable it.
I chose in setting to connect to the extension wallet, but the website keep going to give priority to the brave wallet. ITs like brave forcing to connect to the brave wallet .WTF Anyway just migrating to the google chrome back
You can disable by going to brave://flags â Search for flag âEnable Brave Walletâ â Change Flag value to disabled.

I finally got Brave exactly how I liked it and then the brave wallet would always override my MetaMask wallet even when I clicked âconnect to metamaskâ and even though I had âextensionâ (for wallet) selected in preferences (as opposed to Brave wallet), and it was driving me insane.
This is a bug that needs to be fixed, but, for now, your workaround/hack has made Brave usable for me again, and, for that, I am very appreciative.
Itâs my favorite browser and I would hate to have to go back to using Chrome, but I was on the verge of doing so, and Iâm very relieved that I do not in fact have to.

I find Brave to be the least useful browser for connecting to dapps. It is quirky, unreliable and takes too much effort to figure out how to disable it. After many years of struggling with it convinced it must be better than Chrome, being unable to connect to certain sites, missing token launches etc. because the poorly developed and implemented wallet constantly gets in the way. I am going to chrome and wiping the dust off of my feet from this well intentioned but useless for blockchain app.
After yet another hour trying to disable the Brave wallet extension I am even more disappointed than before. Brave flags just brings you to the help site, tells you to go to flags, you will see âenable Brave wallet option.â This is not true. It brings you to a page that for me is impossible to decipher and there most certainly is not a pathway to the shinning goal of disabling this disastrous wallet on my iPad Pro. This should not be this difficult and convoluted. I am beside myself with what a lousy experience this has been.
this is not true. you will not âenable brave walletâ nor a button to click in order to disable. Brave wallet is an annoying disaster. I dont even have brave wallet set up and it still interferes with connecting to dapps and dexs. I have folloowed all the different links, looked at github articles etc and the solutions offered just simply are not true.
If you are into anything crypto I would exit Brave asap, use chrome or mozilla
and your experience will improve dramatically.
