Whenever I enter something on the address bar, it always autocompletes to a history of the current session if it exist (my browser is set to clear data on exit). For instance, if I open “community.brave.com” and browse naturally. The next time I enter “community.brave.com” it will autocomplete to something like “https://community.brave.app/xxxxx/xxxxx”
What I wish for is to never autocomplete my address bar inputs, no matter if I’m still in the same session, i.e., I haven’t exited the browser to automatically clear data.
I don’t see any toggle for autocomplete anywhere under Appearance in mobile. But thanks for sharing that thread. I think OP is experiencing the same thing I am, but the suggested fix like disabling “Show autocomplete suggestions in address bar” doesn’t exist anywhere in mobile setting and I searched everywhere in Appearance/Privacy and shields.
