Try: In a Brave Browser New Window, go to:
brave://settings/content/siteDetails?site=https%3A%2F%2Fmail.yahoo.com
and scroll down the page, looking for Pop-ups and redirects

Exit / Quit Brave Browser. Pause. Start Brave Browser and test.
By the way, I never enable “Remember Me”, “Remember my decision” - in such pop-ups at websites. Because I use Private Windows, Private Browsing, those settings usually do not stick. Also, I do not enable Forget me when I close this site - because I do not need it:
Overall, because I focus on the prime directive: Privacy and Security - and that means, trying to not leave behind anything that is not secured.
The pop-up and redirects was already set at block. Any other thoughts on how to prevent the popup?
In the screenshot you shared, it shows a dropdown for Remember my decision. In the screenshot, you have it set to Until I close this site – meaning that once you close that tab, the next time you visit it you’ll be asked again.
Instead, change the permission to Forever:
Now it will not ask again unless you reset permissions for the site.
