I have an idea on how Tor support would be added to IOS, but it requires that Brave control the proxy settings for Webkit. When the user enables Private Tabs with TOR, the brave app changes the system proxy settings to localhost:9050, which is the port that the TOR binary uses for SOCKS5 proxy connections. However, webmasters discriminate against TOR exit nodes through excessive Captchas, so if this feature is implemented, it should be paired with the privacy pass protocol, so that solving one Cloudflare Captcha or hCaptcha would grant multiple certificates next time the user sees a Captcha. Privacy Pass is licensed under the BSD license, so there would be little compliance issues to integrating it.
