How i turn off the auto contribution of brave rewards?

I really don’t understand how to turn off the automatic contribution, there is no button of configuration to change things about this, at least I don’t find, there’s just a configuration about ads

Young blood, there is no such thing as auto contribution. Why are you asking about something that does not exist?

Really? I see something about the auto contribution to creators and You need to disable that

Auto-contribution used to be a feature, but it was removed earlier this year in favor of the below contribution methods.

@Bayashi32 where are you seeing this? If you’re relying on guides, then make sure you’re referencing one that is recent. Changes happen all the time.

Brave used to have what it called “Auto Contribute” which would automatically take out 1 BAT or however much you set and it would automatically go to Creators that Brave was deciding to support. This was on by default and had to be toggled off. But after years of complaints, Brave removed this entirely.

Now the only thing you can do is choose to subscribe to specific Creators you wish to support. Such as, let’s say I want to support Luke Mulks from Brave. I’d go to his X profile and choose Contribute:

From here, I choose the amount and there’s a checkbox for Recurring contribution. If I enable this, it does it monthly

And of course, this shows in your Rewards menu, just as anything would be expected:

And if I wanted to stop supporting, I select the three dot menu and hit Remove

And it goes away:

Even in the old versions, the setting would be in your Rewards menu.
