How can set the default window size for Brave?

Thank you for reaching out. There is no way to do this via settings that I’m aware of. That said, Windows should remember the size you set when you last had the browser open. So if you resize the window before closing the browser, it should open back up at that size.
Windows will remember last size and position, if you’re interested in something to set specific sizes to default, there’s a tiny app called Windows Layout Manager, you can define every window (of each program) start x,y, side x,y.
