Homepage shortcuts have vanished

**Description of the issue: PC Brave browser homescreen URL shortcuts disappear without intervention, followed by the inability to add any at all.

My equipment: **

**Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):

  1. Restarted Brave
  2. Confirmed “Top Sites” on
  3. Added first quicklink “Jackie Cards” to homescreen = success
  4. Added 2nd quicklink “Amazon Prime” to homescreen = success
  5. Attempted to add 3rd quicklink “MyChart” to homescreen = failure
  6. First two quicklinks still show on homescreen but cannot add another.
  7. Repeated attempt to add 3rd quicklink “MyChart” to homescreen = failure
  8. Tested first two quicklink paths = success.
  9. Removed successful quicklinks
  10. Repeated steps 1-5 successfully.**

Expected result: Permanent quicklinks to the Homescreen

Reproduces how often: Random

idk if its the same thing i experienced, but my browser did a similar thing, my shortcuts was replaced by sites i frequent while i didn’t bother with settings before it happened.

i got the URL shortcuts back by navigating to homescreen>gear icon>top sites> switched to favorites
