Can you try disabling Hardware Acceleration in settings to see if this resolves the issue?
You’ll find this in Settings --> Additional Settings --> System --> Hardware Acceleration

Do you have any extensions installed in the browser at this time?
yes, I have 4 extensions

Can you try uninstalling them and see if you get the same performance issues?
After I disable hardware acceleration the ‘problem’ no longer occurs
