Google Sign-In popup stuck after selecting account (no redirect)

I’m using Brave Browser and Google login stopped working today (it was working 2 days ago).

When I click “Sign in with Google,” the popup opens normally.
But after I select my email, it just stays on the account selection screen and doesn’t redirect or continue.

I tried:

  • Disabling Shields

  • Allowing cookies

  • Clearing Google cookies

  • Private window

Still the same issue. Happens on multiple sites.

Are you using a VPN?

Do you see the issue in a fresh profile? (Menu → More Tools → Add New Profile)

I have the same problem as Wael, and I don’t have a VPN. I’ve already tried resetting all my Google cache.

I was able to log in without any problems using another profile. Is it possible to duplicate a profile? I really don’t want to lose all my browsing data and bookmarks.
