Google Calendar Extension Not Working

I cannot get the Google Calendar extension to work in Brave. The extension is: Google Calendar
Offered by: Manas Tungare.

It will load to my task bar but does let let me confirm my account.

Steps:

  1. Go to Chrome Web Store and search Google Calendar
  2. Click add to Brave
  3. When the extension appears, it will have a red X on it
  4. Click the extension in the task bar and click Authorize Google Calendar
  5. This is when nothing happens, I’ve left it open for 5 minutes and still doesn’t work

My OS is Windows 10, 64bit
Brave Version: Version 1.3.115 Chromium: 80.0.3987.87 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Any help is appreciated. This extension is really helpful in Chrome, I can add events with simple commands like “Meeting at 5 on 2/14”

Ignore the authorizing and just right click and view full calendar it still works.
