Additional Information:

Did you install Brave as an Administrator? If you open Brave as an Administrator do you see this issue? Thanks!

@Evan123 thought it was said not to ask people to run as administrator?

From my understanding it’s just been having to tell people to follow the instructions given by Clifton at https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/38609#issuecomment-2195847971

Though I know some users struggle to comprehend the instructions.

Yes, I believe it is a bad idea to recommend running Brave as admin (cc @Evan123).

I have to run the Brave as an Administrator every times than only the ads get block it not

what if, I have run Brave as an Administrator is their any way to fix it?

@nasruddin you do instructions as said at https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/38609#issuecomment-2195847971

Thank you So much. This has solve my issues. Just add the note to restart the PC.

if i uninstall the brave and install it again will it remove password manager(brave Password manager .)

@nasruddin it depends. When you uninstall Brave on Windows it gives a prompt asking if you want to delete browsing data. If you choose yes, then that’s going to delete everything related to Brave. So this would be your passwords, PWA, etc.

If you don’t select the box to also delete the browsing data, it should technically have everything still saved on your device so that when you install it again, it’s available to you.

Again, that’s is things go smooth and you don’t check the box. Issues can always happen and I don’t want to promise 100% that it would all be there. I’d make sure you export passwords so you have a backup somewhere just in case.

Also want to mention I was thrown off for a second based on what you were sharing because Brave doesn’t have a standalone password manager. But in looking, I guess you installed the PWA for it. Basically it’s just the same as you visiting brave://password-manager/passwords but in its own little window.
