Description of the issue: General Adblock settings get ignored

How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Go to settings and disable adblock
2. Open any website

Expected result: Newly opened website should have the Brave shields activated but adblocking should remain disabled.

Actual result: Adblock is active when you tap on the shields icon.

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.5.131 German locale

Mobile Device details: Different devices running Android 5 and 9

Additional Information: See attached screenshots. I’m pretty sure I have seen this bug before. Currently there is no way to show ads by default on any websites because settings will get ignored.

In the settings, could you please try to check and uncheck adblock and see if that changes something?

Stup*id me, thanks @MaximeJ, you were exactly right. Enabling and disabling the settings again solved the issue. No idea why I haven’t thought of this before.

By the way, until it’s fixed, you’ll have to do that again if you clear your browsing data.
