Please add a manual fullscreen mode to Brave for Android. It should hide the address bar, Brave toolbar, Android status bar, and navigation bar for any website, not only videos.
My use case is controlling a Soundcraft Ui24R digital mixer with tablet through its browser-based web interface. During live mixing, the browser and Android UI waste screen space that could be used for faders, meters, etc.
There should also be small button for example in right bottom corner to exit fullscreen mode.
This would be useful not only for audio mixers, but also for other dashboards, monitoring tools, and other web control panels.

This would be a massive quality-of-life upgrade for web apps and local control panels. Chrome actually used to support a manual “Add to Home Screen” trick that launched full Progressive Web Apps without any browser chrome, but Brave on Android can be hit-or-miss with stripping the address bar depending on how the local web interface is coded.
For something like a digital mixer or a home automation dashboard where every millimeter of screen real estate counts, having a dedicated toggle button right in the menu to force true full-screen (hiding both the URL bar and the Android system nav/status bars) makes total sense.
Hopefully the devs consider adding a simple “Force Immersive Mode” toggle for sites like this!
Exactly, that would be ideal. Something similar to Safari on iOS when a website is added to the Home Screen: it opens like a standalone app, without the normal browser UI, address bar, or navigation controls.
For local interfaces like the Soundcraft Ui24R, it would be great.
