For account biased sync system

Hello Brave Team,

I am currently using Brave on my Android phone. I have a concern regarding the Sync system.

If I lose my current phone or reset it, is there any way to recover my Brave Mobile data, including bookmarks, passwords, history, and custom settings, using the Sync feature? Currently, it seems that without the original device, I cannot restore my data or settings.

Could you please clarify if there is a backup or account-based solution planned for Brave Mobile, so users do not lose their synced data and settings when changing or losing devices?

At this time there is not but we are working on this – more information on that soon. However in your example, if any other devices are on the Sync chain you should be able to recover that data.
