Description of the issue:The font size in the address bar and the tab bar is too small. Can it be adjusted? I am on linux mint 22.3 and am using a high resolution monitor (Dell U2720Q).
How can this issue be reproduced? The issue is self evident.

Expected result:

Brave Version( check About Brave):Brave 1.91.175 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information: I have edited the brave-browser.desktop. If I use a scale factor that makes the bars readable, the website is so bloated as to be unusable.

I just opened this issue the other day – added your report/request to it as well:

Thank you for responding. I have tried just about all of the approaches suggested to address this issue without success. I’m going to switch to firefox and try to achieve the same level of privacy and security provided by brave. Thanks again. Fred

If it helps, on Linux Mint I would avoid the force-device-scale-factor flag for this specific problem too, because it changes page scaling along with the browser UI and makes the workaround messy. This sounds like it really needs a separate browser-UI text scale setting, so the GitHub issue Mattches linked is probably the right place to track it. For now Firefox does have more knobs for UI scaling, even if matching Brave’s privacy defaults takes a bit of checking.

Thank you for responding Andrea. I will keep an eye on Github for future developments because I do like the brave browser but in the meantime I’m going to switch to firefox. Fred
