Description of the issue: How can this issue be reproduced?
Download a PDF file
Go to downloads list
Try to open the PDF file by tapping on it.
Expected result:
The file should be downloaded.
Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.38.117 Chromium: 101.0.4951.67 (64 bit)
Additional Information:
Although I am using the latest version of the browser, I am sure about it, and the java is also updated, at the first start of the browser, I can download a file, no problem about it but, just after the first file, I try another one to download, the browser blocks it. It fails to download. What should I do in this case? Thank you.
Those are test files that have as their filenames:
no space characters, and
only alpha-numeric characters

In a Brave Browser > New Window, go to: brave://settings/content/pdfDocuments and Enable: ‘Open PDFs in Brave’
. . . has worked. Possibly because, if Brave Browser’s PDF handler(s) can get the PDF file open and [pre-]view-able, then the file will download . . . and focusing on that task is accomplished. Focus, meaning, the download is frontmost - instead of possibly some background task. Maybe. It’s a theory.
But overall, I have found in Brave Community, re PDF issues, that non- alpha-numeric characters (2 examples: SPACE + and others) in PDF filenames, may cause PDF downloads of such files, to fail.
