Brave browser is comparatively new rather than Opera Browser. I used to use Opera & Opera Mini but when I’ve switched to Brave Android I see how much unintuitive the UI is. I’d like to point out some features which Brave Dev team should consider

  • Tabs UI & Switching : Brave’s tab switching is bit of odd to use by one hand. It keeps & showing tabs from the upperside of the screen & can be dismissed by left-right horizontal swipe gesture. So when I’m switching through multiple tabs I’d have to drag my thumb finger to all over on the upperside of the screen. Which is very unintuitive.

I’d suggest to reorganize tab switching metheod where tabs gonna show in the bottom of the screen. And more tabs gonna be added in horizontal right side, which can be dismissed by swiping up gesture. I’d add a snapshot of Tab Switching UI from Opera Mini browser that how I would request to consider.

  • Tab Switching Pop-Up : Also when I open a new tab Opera Mini shows a (approx 2-3s) pop-up where I can click to jump to that specific Tab. So that I don’t have to press tab button, find that specific tab then press to open it. It’s time saving & very convenient if I have so many tabs open at a time. It’s intuitive. That’s why I also request it to consider to add in Brave Android.

  • Slider Scroll Bar : Another point I’d like to request to add a “scroll bar” in the right side of the screen. So that we could slide fast forward to anywhere of any webpages instantly. That slider scroll bar should be visible temporarily for 2s-3s everytime when we gonna start scrolling.

  • Keep the Bottom Bar : Another point I’d like to discuss, when I scroll downwards through webpages in the Brave Browser, the bottom bar of Brave automatically hides, it re-appears when I strat scrolling upwards. I don’t find any option from settings to keep the bottom bar for, so that it doesn’t disappear. If there hasn’t any option then I’d request to add an option where we can keep it.
