Facebook was using a lot of memory so I cleared their cookies and relaunched it. It now doesn’t load at all, but does in Private mode. I have disabled shields but this does not make any difference. It loads normally on Chrome. I have also restarted the PC, but this has not made a difference. Disabled all extensions but that made no difference either. It does load on my iPhone using the Brave browser. Thanks, Mark
Just as an update. Facebook is still not loading BUT I was sent a facebook link in a Whatsapp message and clicking on this loaded my facebook page. Still not able to do it otherwise though!
@Soggy55 can you please try clearing site data for (only/specifically) Facebook again? To do this, simply launch Brave, visit Facebook.com, click the “tune” icon in the address bar next to the URL, then Site settings > Delete data.
This is what I originally did to clear their site data - which then gave me the issue. Just done this again though … and still a problem.

Shields
Block trackers and ads which follow you across the web

Normally - I just get the facebook logo/meta as if it is going to load - but then hangs - page unresponsive. Just tried now and I got to try to login! But then got page unresponsive.
