Facebook: half of the reels don't work whereas they work using Chrome

One week later and still no response? is there anybody still on board?
ANY Instagram video starts correctly, 1 second later it becomes black, still with the sound, till I slightly move up/down with the mouse’s wheel
Allow me to repeat: this on ALL VIDEOS, and still 80% of the Facebook’s reels: “we are sorry, we encountered a problem”

Is the Beta version the definitive one? then, publish it, please, that’s insane.

Maybe its related the profile? Try a clean Brave profile. But we’re not blocking it with default Brave install, I would expect much more push back from many many users if we did

Already tested: no, nada, nothing, private browsing: not better. Only the beta works correctly, and it’s been as is for such a long time that I’m still wondering if that Beta will be published one day, as an update appeared in-between for the non-beta version, without constructing effect on videos, be it on Facebook or on Instagram.
And for the moment, Youtube’s video are still working correctly.
Last but not least: I’ve started this thread more than one month ago.

So now we’ve got an unwanted Artificial 100% un-Intelligent Agent but FB’s vids are still failing. Modernity is progressing… in the wrong direction…

One month, almost, and the video I pointed to at the start of this thread still does not work.
No response, no reaction. Brave Beta is ok, Brave standard still not.
And now, another problem: many youtube videos are not able to restart if I pause them in the middle, put my computer on hibernate, restart it and continue to look at the video.
Page reload, with or without clearing the cache does not work.
Same effect without the hibernation process.

Brave hates videos.
Ok: I’m slowly starting to hate Brave, and I will probably turn back to Opera, or another browser.

Maybe its a buggy profile? but we’re not blocking it by default, there is no setting to block it

Try renaming C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser folder and re-launch Brave

Renaming the Brave-Browser folder solved the problem for me. Thank you.
