Facebook Ads not hiding when they should

I’m getting more disappointed, day by day with Brave. I’m getting a lot of ads in Facebook. I know how to hide them, but the trouble is, in Brave, they don’t hide. This is really annoying, as I’m getting ads that are totally irreliveant to me. They used to just disappear, once I had clicked done, but now they remain. This doesn’t happen in Firefox. Easy solution would be to just use Firefox, but I liked Brave.
