Description of the issue:
Since a week or two my BraveBrowser throws the “ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE” error on local websites/resources. No matter if the site is called by https (self signed) or just http. Safari opens the site correctly in both ways…

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open a local website by IP or dns-name and/or port

Expected result: Page should be opened correctly

Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.70.119 Chromium: 129.0.6668.70 (Offizieller Build) (arm64)

Additional Information: Anonymous/private tab throws same error.

Same thing for me. I lost access to all pages in my local network. Safari and Chrome open these pages without any issues.
I have no idea where to start to identify the reason behind this problem.

Hey, it was privacy settings in macOS for me. Since Update to OSX15. I had to allow brave for connections to local ressources and since then I am able to open these pages by ip. Opening by name is however not possible till now.
