Download on mobile phones doesnt work

Description:
I can’t download any file. If I want to download a file it shows me a window with the name and the location (I only can choose “Downloads”). When I press the download-button the window disappears for a millisecond and then it appears again

Specs:
I use the mobile version of Brave (1.5.9) and the Oneplus 6t - Android 10.3.2.

What kind of files are you trying to download (e.g. pdf, png, jpeg)? How/where are you looking to view these files?
