Didn't get any BAT even after getting ads

hey i am from India I use brave pretty often. I enabled brave rewards and ads about 3 moths ago, it was pretty much good i was getting ads and all and count was good too but I didn’t got any coins in my wallet though (I use vpn like every time)

@jorawar but have you connected your Rewards to a ZebPay or Solana account?

yes with Solana account in Brave wallet

@jorawar okay, so reason I was asking is some people expect to see earnings even while not connected. And some others will expect BAT to increase right away.

When we connect, we start earning for some of the ads we see. If it is a house ad, we don’t earn from it. If it’s a paid ad, we will see the Ads Viewed counter increase.

What ads we see in a given month is paid in the next, around the 8th of each month. So like February’s ads will be paid around March 8.

If you were connected to Solana before the middle of January and never received a payment, then you will want to create a support ticket at https://support.brave.app/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001302431

If you connected at the very end of January or here in February, then wait to see if you receive the payment here in March.

My Terminology explanation:

  • House Ads = 0 BAT. These advertise Brave’s products and services or might also be about temporary partnerships Brave has with other products and services.

  • Paid Ads = Anything Brave is paid to show us. We only get paid if they get paid. Ads viewed before connecting our Rewards to something like ZebPay, Uphold, or Solana aren’t counted. We only are eligible and start earnings once the connection is made.
