Desktop Brave VPN won't connect, says session expired.... But won't allow me to refresh or to reconnect

I just started using Brave again recently. I have used it in the past so I am familiar with how it works. Today my VPN won’t reconnect. It says the session expired, please log in to reconnect. I do that and it won’t refresh. It won’t connect. It won’t do anything. and I’ve literally tried everything I’ve read, short of uninstalling and reinstalling the browser. Nothing works… I’m still on my 7-day trial, so IDK what’s going on. But if it keeps this up, I will cancel my subscription. And getting ahold of someone has become a lot harder than when I used Brave Browser in the past. While this is my first time using the VPN, I am familiar with how it works. So there’s literally no reason for it to stop working after 5 days, and then won’t allow me to reconnect. Please help. I’ve done everything…

Also I did uninstall and reinstall and it’s still not wanting to connect.
