Not sure why you didn’t add this to your other feature request…
I could/would have just suggested titling these two as one with “Improve URL bar search function” or something along those lines then given these two options… essentially they are the same request. Anyway I do want that function improved so I’ll give you another vote… just thought I’d share that.
