Dear Brave Team and Community,
I am writing to submit a feature request on behalf of the many dedicated users who test and use the Brave Beta and Nightly build channels.
Currently, official, easy-to-read release notes are primarily provided for the stable Release Channel. For those of us using the Beta and Nightly builds, we often have to resort to tracking changes through the public GitHub Milestones and filtering issues, which is not always straightforward or user-friendly.
I would like to request that the Brave team consider adding a more accessible and formalized section for Brave Beta and Brave Nightly release notes on both desktop and android. This could be either:
-
A new dedicated sub-category on the Brave Community for daily or weekly changelogs for Beta and Nightly, similar to the existing Release Notes category for the stable channel.
-
A weekly or bi-weekly summary post in a relevant category that highlights the major new features, fixes, and changes introduced into the Beta and Nightly builds during that period.
Having this information readily available would be a huge benefit for power-users and testers by:
-
Making it easier to identify and test new features.
-
Helping us pinpoint when a new bug was introduced.
-
Increasing the quality and relevance of our feedback to the team.
Thank you.
