I am on a Mac. When I try to use “Command + Shift + ]”, it goes to a random tab. When I try to use “Comamand + Shift + [”, it also goes to a random tab.
I have no extensions installed.
This is very frustrating and requires me to delete my profile and create a new profile, until I reach the same error and must repeat this process. Sometimes, it will begin to work, and then start cycling in the wrong order again.
Why can I not use a basic functionality like moving between tabs in order?
In this example, I start from the first tab. I am using “Command + Shift + ]” to tab forward, and it shows the order it occurs. I then go to the last tab, and then try to tab in reverse order, and it shows the order it occurs.
@habibisan I do believe you’re using the wrong commands would be why. You can check all keyboard shortcuts in Brave’s settings. Go to Settings → System → Shortcuts or you can just paste in brave://settings/system/shortcuts
Hi there, I am not using the wrong shortcut. This is part of the default configuration. This works fine upon creating a new profile, yet inevitable stops working.
This is also the default that works for every single browser I use. LibreWolf, Firefox, Safari, yet Brave does not cycle in the right order.
Are you suggesting Brave has it’s own rules for cycling tabs? As per my previous message, I have no issues using these commands to go between tabs. It just starts going in random orders.
